In order to apply for a heavy motor vehicle driving license in India, a driver must apply for a learning license at first. After the learning license is applied successfully after some time, a heavy motor vehicle license can be applied online. 

  • The first step is to visit the parivahan official website- the road transport authority of India.

  • After visiting at the website, you need to first create an account and start the application process.

  • The next step is to enter your state where you want to get this service from.
  • After selecting your state what next you have to do is to download the necessary application form (s).
  • Fill all the forms carefully and upload the scanned copy along with your driver refreshing training certificate. The certificate can be easily obtained from any government Driving school which is authorised by the State Government of India. 
  • Once you submit all the documents successfully, you will be given the application number which can be used to track the status.
  • Don’t forget to book a slot for your driving test.
  • The last but not the least, you are now required to visit to the RTO office to fulfill all required formalities. Once you get success in your driving test, you will be issued a permanent driving licence.
